Is there a plan from ArtsMan to add scheduled automated reports to TM? It’s odd we still don’t have the ability to program weekly reports for scheduled distribution to specific lists — and instead still manually do this.
There definitely is a plan to add scheduled reports. One of the firsts steps is the ability to run reports from the server, instead of on the desktop. That feature is already done and in deployed beta: https://help.theatremanager.com/installing-theatre-manager/enabling-background-report-generation
The rest should come along in the next little while.
It’s all built on the same system that enables us to send confirmation emails with attached calendars and PDF tickets. So in the future you’ll be able to send scheduled PDF reports, in that same style.
