When working with a client earlier this year they presented the idea of creating a portfolio of donors. Each portfolio would be assigned to a senior staff or board member, whose goal was to add touch points between those donors and the organization on a more regular and personal basis.
This can be done in both the Mail List and the Report modules by using the search criteria of Marketing Donor Default Solicitor
Mail lists and Reports both their own unique use cases. With Mail Lists you can quickly see who is in the list on the Whose In tab. Plus you can re-arrange your columns to show donor details like First Donation Date | Last Donation Date | Last Donation Amount and you can sort them to show the highest total gifts to lowest total gifts.
Using the same search criteria in the Reporting module, we can get the same donors but with more detail on each gift they’ve given in the past. For example:
