  1. New Zoom Webinar Series

A light is shining at the end of the tunnel and venues are ramping up for a new season. For many that means coming back to Theatre Manager after a long hiatus. For others it means coming into an organization where they’ll be using Theatre Manager for the first time.

To assist with reopening, we’re launching a new free webinar series called Artsman Coffee Time, ACT. The ACT series will cover short Theatre Manager training topics and will be followed by a short Q&A.

Join us on Wednesday, July 28, 2021!

Visit Artsman Community for more details on the topic and to sign up.

2. Using Ticket Fees to Generate Revenue

Order Fees are a great option for collecting revenue that offsets your business expenses (merchant provider fees, box office handling, technology cost, or facility upkeep management), so long as you don’t mind the fee being visible online. An order fee can be automatically added to a cart or order at the time of purchase, exchange, or delivery selection (mailing fees). Artsman never charges order fees, so your organization keeps 100% of the revenue generated.

If you’re curious about how to charge ticket fees that are blended into a ticket price and invisible online, stay tuned for next week’s TTT.

3. First Time Ever Donor in Current Fiscal Year

A popular question asked of the support team is how do I find first-time-ever Donors in my database?

Answer: Mail Lists with donation date and donation source criteria.

  • ADD the Donation Date between the start and end of the current Fiscal Year and Donation Source is one of Donation or Gift with Ticket Sale, Hard Pledge, Internet or Recurring Gift.
  • REMOVE the Donation Date less than the start of the current Fiscal Year and Donation Source is one of Donation or Gift with Ticket Sale, Hard Pledge, Internet or Recurring Gift.

Review Company Preferences, Account Tab to see how your database stores your Fiscal Year.
