1. Set Up of Printer and Cash Drawer Preferences is Moving

Coming this week: Printer settings are moving from Employee Preferences to a new setup menu called “Hardware Preferences”. This consolidates point of sale hardware like printers, cash drawers, USB devices, etc. under one common place.

Devices formerly under employee preferences should be migrated automatically. They may need to be adjusted for some users.

2. Send a Patron Password Reset from the Contact Card

You can assist patron’s reset their online login password by:

  • Opening their patron contact window
  • Selecting the email address
  • Editing it if it is incorrect
  • Clicking the gear and reset password

This queues up a ‘reset password’ email to be set to the patron.

3. Year End Rollover

For a number of venues, the fiscal year coincides with the end of the season (during the summer months). This tip repeats timely advice about Year End Rollover for those venues.

PLEASE NOTE : The Year End Rollover (YERO) needs to be done before you can successfully complete an End of Day in the new fiscal year. The End of Day will warn you that the Year End Rollover needs to be done and will prevent you from generating reports in the End of Day.
