  1. Having Criteria

Did you know that you can use the Having Criteria to refine criteria within a mail list?

The Having Criteria can compile several pieces of data, including average, minimum, maximum, sum, count, and distinct count based on the history found, and then keeps or discards the data that is not applicable to your parameters.

The most common examples where ‘having’ makes life easy are: non-subscribers who bought for multiple events in one year; or patrons who donated 3 out of the past 5 years - but not this year.

  1. New Charts Added to Reveal Dashboards

We’ve added some interesting new charts to the Reveal Dashboards:

  • hourly sales for today
  • hourly sales for yesterday
  • TM License usage for the month vs licenses available - to help venues understand the maximum people logged into TM in any one day during the month
  • TM License usage for the year vs licenses available - to help venues understand the maximum people logged into TM in any one day during the year

  1. Credit Card Processing and TLS 1.2

Many of you will be receiving notes from your credit card company over the next while advising you that that TSL 1.2 will soon be required in order to authorize credit cards.

We want to tell you not to worry - Theatre Manager has been doing this for 3 years… we are ahead of the banks’ time line.

  1. This is not a tip but…

As the seasons change, so do we! Let us know when you spot the differences coming to Theatre Manager soon.
